Adecco: Over A Million Monthly Visitors

With close to 5 million page views a month, the Adecco website is essential in connecting employees and employers. We were challenged to create a new online presence for Adecco USA that would present them as a world-class, modern and professional workforce business for their varied audiences.

NOT EVERY CANDIDATE IS THE SAME

Adecco needed a site that would speak to a multitude of audiences, both employees and employers, working across all industries and at any stage of their career life cycle. We worked with various groups of stakeholders to understand challenges for both Adecco internally and their audiences alike.

both style and substance

Our initial findings were captured in a 70-page document that outlined project objectives, current site analysis, personas and scenarios – before defining goals, requirements and priorities for all audiences. We also developed a comprehensive content strategy to assist Adecco with migrating, updating and creating targeted content for their audiences across all their channels.

TEST AND REPEAT

After numerous iterations, responsive prototyping and comprehensive online user testing the result is an experience based around the users decision process – complementing the real-life interactions that occur alongside it.

RESPONSIVE IN EVERY SENSE

A multitude of disconnected websites, a long job application process, duplicate content and a confusing user journey are fun for no one. Especially when functionality is limited on mobile and tablet. Our responsive solution reimagined the job search and application process and introduced the ability to save searches, jobs and manage multiple resumes - no matter where you are.

MAKE IT BUSINESS CASUAL

As the debut execution of a recent brand refresh, we defined a look that is contemporary and fresh. A change from the rounded corners and gradients of the past, a bold palette and flat design were paired with imagery that users can connect with. We defined iconography and evolved the use of the existing font and tone of voice to feel approachable.

the next chapter

The final website is comprised of over 35 responsive templates, connecting users with thousands of jobs across 500 branches in the US. Presenting related content like never before, we’ve already seen an increase in session durations. We continue to work with Adecco across many varied projects; such as imagining how mobile apps can be used as powerful tools in the recruitment process.
