I work at the intersection of place, culture and systems.
My photographic practice explores how communities shape identity through everyday rituals, material culture and cultivated landscapes. I am currently developing a long-term book project documenting all 47 prefectures of Japan, with a focus on regional culture and areas facing depopulation.
I grew up in rural Australia and have lived and worked across Europe, the US and Japan. Those experiences continue to inform my perspective - grounded in observation, cross-cultural dialogue and care.
Alongside my artistic practice, I bring over 17 years of experience leading strategy, digital experience and brand projects internationally. My background in research and systems thinking informs how I approach both creative and strategic work.
